Controllers/Data Collectors
Leica RCS1100 Remote Controller

The RCS1100 remote control is a compact handheld controller that enables one person total station operation .  The controller combines the radio modem, and battery into a compact,  handheld unit.  It is used to remotely operate the total stations in the TPS1100 Professional Series. The result is a one man total station. A radio link provides convenient data transfer without the need of cumbersome cabling .

The RCS1100 steers and operates a TCA or TCRA total station from the target point itself , or from any other desired position .  The display of the RCS is identical to the keyboard of the total station making the switch to remote control simple for the user.  The RCS1100 simply slides onto the plumbing pole and that's it.  No messy cables or batteries to worry about, everything is built in .  If lock is lost between the instrument and the prism that's also not a problem.  Just push one button on the RCS to initiate Leica's innovative new Power Search function and lock is regained easily and automatically.

The convenience of the RCS1100 makes one man surveying practical and realistic for applications where it is more productive to limit crew size.   Please contact us to arrange for an onsite demonstration of remote control surveying .

Allegro CE Data Collector
Created especially for Leica Geosystems, the  AllegroCE is Leica's most recent innovation in remote controllers/data collectors .  With the radio modem and battery built in, the totally cableless AllegroCE is the most compact convenient data collector on the market .  The Allegro is built to withstand harsh field environments.  It was designed to be light weight, comfortable to hold, and easy to maneuver while working in less than ideal conditions .  The Allegro's  ergonomic shape and smooth edges make it easy to hold, maximizing comfort and usability in the field.

The polycarbonate ABS material is rugged shock resistant and chemical resistant .  Gaskets completely seal the case from water and dust. The Allegro can be submerged and even floats !  It weighs less than 2lb. and the weight distribution is carefully balanced .  There are no tools required to access the batteries and the PC card

When combined with Carlson SurvCE and Leica total stations and GPS, it is a data collection system that is unmatched in the industry.  Please contact us to arrange for an onsite demonstration of the new data collection leader.
